Consent for Treatment
We're grateful you've chosen Chrysalis Naturally Amazing for your massage and bodywork needs. Massage therapy is generally safe, but certain health conditions may require clearance from your healthcare provider. Please note that massage is not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or examination, and we cannot guarantee specific results. Clear communication about your health history and any contraindications helps us provide the safest, most effective treatment. We require written consent before your first session.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for 48 hours' notice for any schedule changes or cancellations. Late cancellations make it difficult to fill your appointment time, which affects both our practice and other clients who need care. For cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice or missed appointments, you'll be charged 100% of the service fee. A credit card is required at the time of online booking to secure your appointment.
We understand emergencies happen. If you have a fever, infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 48 hours of your appointment, please cancel your session. During inclement weather, we'll provide advance notice if we need to close, and we ask you to do the same—please don't risk your safety. Late cancellations due to emergency, illness, or severe weather are handled case-by-case and typically won't result in charges.
Late Arrival Policy
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. If you're running late, a quick call helps us accommodate you when possible. Since appointment times are reserved specifically for you, late arrivals may result in shortened sessions to avoid delaying the next client. Full service fees apply even when sessions are shortened. In return, if we're ever running late, we'll add time to your session or adjust your fee accordingly.
Inappropriate Behavior Policy
Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. Any inappropriate insinuation, joke, gesture, or request will result in immediate termination of your session and refusal of future services. Full fees apply regardless of session length. Depending on the situation, we may file a report with local authorities. We treat our clients with respect and dignity, and we ask for the same in return.
Patient Privacy
We collect your phone number and SMS messages solely for appointment scheduling, reminders, and important notifications. We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law, and we use reasonable security measures to protect your data. By communicating via SMS, you consent to this use. Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates are non-refundable and valid for one year from purchase. Any remaining balance after one year will be forfeited. Proof of purchase required at redemption.
Prepaid Package Policy
Packages of 6 massages (20% off) are valid for one year from purchase, non-refundable, and limited to 2 packages per client. Standard scheduling and cancellation policies apply. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows will forfeit one prepaid session.
